HL Deb 30 June 1948 vol 157 c97

Clause 15, page 12, line 38, leave out ("classes,") and insert ("descriptions")

Clause 15, page 12, line 39, leave out ("classes,") and insert ("descriptions").

THE LORD CHANCELLOR

My Lords, the next two Amendments leave out the word "classes" and insert "descriptions." It was thought that "classes" was an undesirable word to use, having regard to its possible other meanings, and that the word "descriptions" was a happier word. I beg to move.

Moved, This this House do agree with the Commons in the said Amendment.—(The Lord Chancellor.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
