HL Deb 27 July 1948 vol 157 c1208

Clause 10, page 5, line 20, leave out ("Limited").

VISCOUNT HALL

My Lords, this Amendment to leave out the word "Limited" is a purely formal Amendment. Since the introduction of the Bill, the Association of Certified and Corporate Accountants have received permission from the Board of Trade, under Section 18 of the Companies Act, to omit from their title the word "Limited" The Amendment therefore puts the title of the Association into its proper form. I beg to move that this House do agree with the Commons in the said Amendment.

Moved, That this House do agree with the Commons in the said Amendment.—(Viscount Hall.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
