HL Deb 01 July 1948 vol 157 c178
LORD MORRISON

My Lords, I beg to move that the Special Order as reported from the Special Orders Committee on Wednesday, June 23 last, be approved. After the very full statement which the noble and learned Viscount the Lord Chancellor has just made upon the Police Pensions Regulations, 1948, perhaps it would be for the convenience of your Lordships if I merely stated that with the exception of certain peculiarly Scottish provisions, these Regulations are exactly in line with those for England and Wales. I beg to move.

Moved, That the Special Order, as reported from the Special Orders Committee on Wednesday, June 23 last, be approved.—(Lord Morrison.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
