§ LORD AMMONMy Lords, we propose to have a very short formal sitting tomorrow afternoon at 4 p.m., as we are expecting to receive from another place the Dog Racecourse Betting (Temporary Provisions) Bill the passsage of which into law is urgent. I hope we shall have your Lordships' agreement to our taking this Bill through all its stages early next week, in view of the Royal Commission which is expected on Thursday next, March 27. I may perhaps also take this opportunity of informing your Lordships that we hope to be able to adjourn for the Easter Recess either on Wednesday, April 2, or on Thursday, April 3. After Easter, we shall resume the sittings for public business on Tuesday, April 15.
