THE EARL OF DROGHEDA

My Lords, I beg to move that the Standing Orders relative to Private Bills be amended as set out in the Appendix to the Minutes of Proceedings. These Amendments are really nothing more than improvements in drafting, or are necessitated by change in the functions of certain Government Departments. They involve no alteration in procedure, and no question of principle. Similar Amendments have already been made, or will be made, in another place.
