VISCOUNT ADDISON

My Lords, I am afraid I must make one other small statement. There is, I think, a general desire among your Lordships that an early date should be fixed for a debate on the housing question. Lord Llewellin has a Motion on this subject for Thursday, 21st. Lord Altrincham who has a Motion on the Paper respect- ing the regional organizations in Africa and the Middle East for Wednesday next, the 13th, has kindly consented to withdraw that Motion, and I propose putting a Motion myself on the Paper for Tuesday next asking that Lord Llewellin may have the leave of the House to advance his Motion from Thursday the 21st to Wednesday the 13th, in order that the debate on this pressing matter of housing may be taken on a date which I hope will be convenient to your Lordships.
