My Lords, I beg to ask the last question standing in my name.

[The question was as follows:

The fourteenth report of the Bank of International Settlements states that the smallest increase in the note circulation of the Empire group of countries is 100 per cent. above the pre-war figure; to ask His Majesty's Government, if they concur in the statement and, if not, what is the increase in the note circulation of these countries.]
