HL Deb 06 December 1945 vol 138 cc478-80

7.13 p.m.

LORD AMMON

My Lords, in moving that the House do now adjourn, I would take this opportunity of informing the House of the dates of the Christmas adjournment and the reassembly after the Recess. My noble friend Lord Addison informed Viscount Samuel that he would make an announcement at the earliest possible moment. We propose that Parliament should go into Recess on Thursday, December 20, and that we should reassemble on Tuesday, January 22. I beg to move that this House do now adjourn until to-morrow, when we shall meet at 4 p.m. to receive Bills from another place. I should perhaps remind your Lordships that our meeting on Monday next for public business will be at 4 p.m.

Moved, That the House do now adjourn.—(Lord Ammon.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.

House adjourned at a quarter past seven o'clock.
