§ LORD HENDERSONMy Lords, the acreage returned at June 4 as being under tillage (that is, crops and bare fallow) in England and Wales in 1943, 1944 and 1945 was as follows: 1943, 11,538,000 acres; 1944, 11,595,000 acres; 1945, 11,051,000 acres.
