My Lords, I beg to ask the question standing in my name on the Paper.

[The question was as follows:

To ask His Majesty's Government, whether the Palestine Administration have received from the representatives of religious bodies, or from others, any protests against the proposed establish- ment of a State lottery in combination with an issue of Government bonds.]

My Lords, yes; representations against the issue of Premium Bonds have been made by certain members of the Church of Scotland in the Middle East and by the Anglican Bishop in Jerusalem.
