My Lords, on behalf of my noble friend the Leader of the House, I beg to move the Resolution standing in his name.

Moved, That Standing Orders Nos. XXI and XXXIX be considered in order to their being dispensed with for the purpose of taking the House of Commons Disqualification (Temporary Provisions) Bill and the Income Tax (Offices and Employments) Bill through their remaining stages and of giving precedence to Government business over the other Notices and Orders of the Day.—(Lord Templemore.)
