§ The Right Honourable Sir Rayner Goddard, Knight, a Lord Justice of Appeal, having been by Letters Patent bearing date the nineteenth day of July instant appointed a Lord of Appeal in Ordinary under the provisions of the Appellate Jurisdiction Act, 1876, as amended by any subsequent enactment, with the dignity of a Baron for life by the style and title of Baron Goddard of Aldbourne in the County of Wilts—Was (in the usual manner) introduced.
