THE LORD PRIVY SEAL (VISCOUNT CRANBORNE) (Lord Cecil)My Lords, I promised the noble Lord, Lord Addison, yesterday, in answer to a private notice question, to ask my right honourable friend the Foreign Secretary whether it would be possible to make available, before the discussion on Lord Perry's Motion to-morrow, copies of the memorandum of proposals submitted by the British delegation to the Food Conference now in session at Hot Springs, Virginia. I am happy to be able to inform the House that by his courtesy fifty copies have been placed in the Printed Paper Office for the convenience of noble Lords.
§ LORD ADDISONMy Lords, I should like, if I may, to express, on behalf of my noble friends and myself, our sincere thanks to the noble Viscount for his prompt and friendly action in this matter, which I am sure will be exceedingly useful.
