HL Deb 06 May 1943 vol 127 c431
LORD PORTSEA

My Lords, I beg to ask the Leader of the House the following question of which I have given him private notice: Whether His Majesty's Government have any information to give the House as to the announcement by the German wireless, which is reported in to-day's Press, that the rations of the Norman Islanders are to be reduced because of the raids made by British and American aircraft on the supply ships to the Islands.

VISCOUNT CRANBORNE

My Lords, in answer to the noble Lord, I can only say that His Majesty's Government have received no official communication on this subject.
