HL Deb 23 March 1943 vol 126 cc860-2
VISCOUNT CRANBORNE

My Lords, I move that the House do now adjourn.

Moved, That the House do now adjourn.—(Viscount Cranborne).

VISCOUNT CECIL OF CHELWOOD

My Lords, I understood from my noble friend, with regard to the Motion (concerning the maintenance of peace after the war) which stands in my name, that he thinks it would be more convenient if it were postponed for the present.

VISCOUNT CRANBORNE

That is so.

VISCOUNT CECIL OF CHELWOOD

Perhaps the Clerk will be good enough to put it down as a Motion for which no date is fixed, and then I can confer with my noble friend as to what is the most convenient course to take.

VISCOUNT CRANBORNE

I am most grateful to my noble friend and I will get in touch with him with regard to the most convenient date for bringing on his Motion.

On Question, Motion agreed to.

House adjourned.
