HL Deb 23 June 1942 vol 123 c505

LORD NATHAN had the following Notice on the Paper: To ask His Majesty's Government the present and prospective position as regards war-time nurseries; and to move for Papers. The noble Lord said: My Lords, as the attention of your Lordships' House has been directed for so long a time to-day to a matter of importance and some intricacy, and as my noble friend Lord Winster is going to withdraw his Motion which was on the Paper for the next sitting day, which, consequently, will be a free day, I beg to postpone the Motion standing in my name until then.
