HL Deb 22 October 1941 vol 120 c365

Order of the Day for receiving the Report of Amendments, read.

THE JOINT PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY OF THE MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE AND FISHERIES (THE DUKE OF NORFOLK)

My Lords, I beg to move that this Report be now received.

Moved, That the Report of Amendments be now received.—(The Duke of Norfolk.)

THE EARL OF CLANWILLIAM

My Lords, may I with your permission say a word of thanks to the noble Duke for the great courtesy and consideration which he has shown to many noble Lords on this side of the House in the course of the passage of this Bill? It has resulted in a very expeditious passage of the Bill, and I am quite sure I am only speaking for many noble Lords on this side, who have been specially interested in the Bill, when I say how very much obliged we are to the noble Duke for his great courtesy and consideration.

On Question, Motion agreed to: Amendments reported accordingly.
