HL Deb 18 June 1941 vol 119 c444
THE CHAIRMAN OF COMMITTEES (THE EARL OF ONSLOW)

My Lords, I beg to move that Standing Order No. 171 be considered in order to its being dispensed with in respect of the Ebbw Vale Urban District Council Bill in order that the Bill may now be read a third time.

Moved, That Standing Order No. 171 be considered in order to its being dispensed with in respect of the Ebbw Vale Urban District Council Bill.—(The Earl of Onslow.)

On Question, Motion agreed to, and ordered accordingly.

THE EARL OF ONSLOW

My Lords, this is a late Bill and it is rather important to get it through. If the Standing Order had not been dispensed with it would have had to wait some time. I beg to move that the Bill be now read a third time.

Moved, That the Bill be now read 3a.—(The Earl of Onslow).

On Question, Bill read 3a, and passed, and sent to the Commons.
