HL Deb 03 April 1941 vol 118 c1014
LORD ADDISON

My Lords, may I ask the Deputy Leader of the House if he has anything to say in respect of future business?

LORD SNELL

My Lords, I am sorry I have very little information on the point. The remaining stages of this Bill which we have just read a second time will, I presume, be taken. We shall have the Committee stage on the next sitting day, and Lord Teviot has a Question on the Paper for that day also.

LORD ADDISON

There is another matter in my mind which is common knowledge to us all, and that concerns the suggested statement on the war and Motion. It would be convenient if, as soon as may be, we knew when that statement was likely to be made.

LORD SNELL

The information will be circulated in the usual way, but I anticipate it will take place on the second sitting day.

House adjourned.
