§ LORD SNELLMy Lords, you will have received a notice acquainting you of the 569 next meeting of the House, when it is proposed that we should take the Consolidation Fund Bill through all its stages, as well as the remaining stages of the Securities (Validation) Bill, which we read a first time this morning.
§ LORD ADDISONMy Lords, may I ask the noble Lord the Deputy Leader of the House whether he could give us any information as to whether the Bill 570 to prolong the life of Parliament will be likely to come before us soon?
§ LORD SNELLMy Lords, in answer to the noble Lord the Bill will not be unnecessarily delayed, but I cannot tell how long it will take to get through all its stages in another place. I have no evidence that it will be available to your Lordships next week.
§ House adjourned.
