HL Deb 09 May 1940 vol 116 c356
THE LORD PRESIDENT OF THE COUNCIL (EARL STANHOPE)

My Lords, there are no Orders of the Day for today, and therefore I propose that the House should adjourn till Tuesday, May 21, but of course, as your Lordships are aware, the Lord Chancellor has been given the power to summon your Lordships at twenty-four hours' notice should it be thought desirable to do so. I beg to move that the House do now adjourn.

Moved accordingly, and, on Question, Motion agreed to.

House adjourned at four minutes past twelve O'clock.
