HL Deb 21 March 1940 vol 115 c1020
THE LORD PRESIDENT OF THE COUNCIL (EARL STANHOPE)

My Lords, before we adjourn, I should like to say that except for a meeting of the Special Orders Committee there are no Notices or Orders on the Paper for April 2, the day on which we come back. But it is proposed nevertheless that the House should meet on that day, in case some business should arise in the interval or in case the Government should wish to make a statement on the re-assembly after the Recess.

House adjourned at twelve minutes past twelve o'clock.
