HL Deb 11 June 1940 vol 116 c512

Order of the Day for the Second Reading read.

4.13 p.m.

LORD TEMPLEMORE

My Lords, this is a small Bill which should have been brought forward last year, I think, but it has been delayed owing to the outbreak and continuance of war. It is merely a Bill to confirm a scheme made by the Charity Commissioners for the management of the charity called Poor's Allotments in Hornsey. I do not think I need explain it to your Lordships. I beg to move that the Bill be read a second time.

Moved, That the Bill be now read 2a.—(Lord Templemore.)

On Question, Bill read 2a, and committed to a Committee of the Whole House.
