§ Clause 1, page 1, line 13, leave out from ("1867") to ("is") in line 15.
§ VISCOUNT CALDECOTEMy Lords, this is simply a drafting Amendment, which has been agreed to in another place for the purpose of meeting a suggestion made by the Canadian Government. I should like to take the opportunity of correcting a mistake which I made on a former occasion, and to which my noble and learned friend Lord Atkin has called attention. I said that this Bill was in consequence of a decision of your Lordships' House; I should have said a 883 decision of the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council—an obvious slip which I have already taken steps to correct in the bound volume of the OFFICIAL REPORT. I beg to move that this House doth agree with the Commons in the said Amendment.
§ Moved, That this House doth agree with the Commons in the said Amendment.—(Viscount Caldecote.)
§ On Question, Motion agreed to.
§ House adjourned during pleasure.
§ House resumed.
