HL Deb 18 January 1940 vol 115 c388

4.19 P.M.

EARL STANHOPE

My Lords, I do not think I need say anything about the business for next week, all of which is on the Paper, with the exception that I think we shall hold a formal sitting on Monday to receive the National Loans Bill from another place for its First Reading and then take it through all its stages on Tuesday. I do not think it is a matter which will greatly interest your Lordships' House. I understand it is mostly to set at rest possible misreadings of a former Act, and therefore I do not think it will take your Lordships much time or a great deal of consideration.

House adjourned at twenty minutes past four o'clock.
