§ LORD SNELLMy Lords, I beg to ask the noble Earl the Leader of the House if he can make any statement about business.
§ EARL STANHOPEMy Lords, I propose that on Tuesday we should consider the Commons Amendments to the Special 110 Enactments (Extension of Time) Bill and take the Second Reading of the Agricultural Wages (Regulation) Amendment Bill and of the Army and Air Force (Annual) Bill. On the same day the noble Lord, Lord Newton, is asking a question as to the date when the report of mutiny on the "Graf Spee" was published, and is moving for Papers. At present there is no business on the Order Paper for Wednesday. On Thursday I propose that we take the Committee stage of the two Bills to which we shall give a Second Reading on Tuesday, that is to say, the Agricultural Wages (Regulation) Amendment Bill and the Army and Air Force (Annual) Bill, and that business will be followed by my noble friend Lord Zetland moving to obtain the approval of the House to the continuance in force of Proclamations relating to the war under Section 93 of the Government of India Act issued by the Governors of the Provinces of India and presented to the House.
