My Lords, I beg leave to introduce a Bill to amend the law of Scotland relating to enforcement of decrees ad factum praestandum, to solatium and damages, to contribution among joint wrongdoers, and to the limitation of actions; to amend and extend the Intestate Husband's Estates (Scotland) Acts, 1911 and 1919; to make provision regarding the powers of the King's and Lord Treasurer's Remembrancer; to enable effect to be given to International Conventions affectting Scottish Courts; and to amend the law as to pleas of guilty on indictment as to the reading of the complaint in summary prosecutions, and as to the prorogation of jurisdiction. I beg to move that this Bill be now read a first time.
