My Lords, on behalf of my noble friend Lord Zetland, I beg leave to introduce a Bill to make provision as regards Scotland for the prevention of damage to crops by deer or rabbits; to amend the law of Scotland relating to the rights of occupiers to kill ground game, and to the use of poison or spring traps or the use of firearms at night for the purpose of killing hares or rabbits; and to move that the Bill be read a first time.
