§ EARL STANHOPEMy Lords, I was going to suggest in moving the adjournment of the House that we should meet at three o'clock on Thursday next, because I imagine that the House of Commons will meet at their usual hour of a quarter before three, and if any statement has to be made it is advisable that it should be made practically simultaneously in both Houses. I do not 905 know what your Lordships would wish in such a matter—whether you would wish to meet at three o'clock or the ordinary hour of a quarter past four—but I think, perhaps, it is preferable that we should meet at three o'clock. I 906 therefore move the adjournment in that form.
§ Moved accordingly, and, on Question, Motion agreed to.
§ House adjourned at twenty minutes past ten o'clock.
