My Lords, on behalf of my noble friend Lord Sempill, I beg leave to introduce a Bill for the prevention of damage by rabbits; and to amend the law relating to the use of poison, the prohibition of night shooting, and the use of spring traps above ground for the purpose of killing hares or rabbits. I move that it be read a first time.
