HL Deb 19 May 1938 vol 109 cc279-80
Lord SNELL

My Lords, can the noble Earl the Leader of the House tell us anything about the business for next week?

EARL STANHOPE

My Lords, I am very grateful to the noble Lord for asking that question. On Monday there is on the Order Paper a Notice by Lord Mottistone, to move a Resolution regarding a Ministry of Supply, and the noble Lord, Lord Newton, has a Question in regard to Mexico and the breaking off of relations. There will also be that day the Report stage of the Sea Fish Industry Bill and the Committee stage of two Bills which I think will not take very long. On Tuesday we propose to continue the debate which we began to-day, and I hope it will not take very long. After that the Coal Bill will be considered in Committee, and we propose that it should be continued on Wednesday and Thursday. I think it will be necessary to ask your Lordships to sit after dinner on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and probably to meet at three o'clock on Wednesday.

House adjourned at five minutes before eight o'clock.
