Sir Samuel Lowry Porter, Knight, one of the Justices of His Majesty's High Court of Justice, having been appointed a Lord of Appeal in Ordinary, under the provisions of the Appellate Jurisdiction Act, 1876, as amended by any subsequent enactment, with the dignity of a Baron for life, by the style and title of Baron Porter of Longfield in the County of Tyrone—Was (in the usual manner) introduced at the sitting of the House for judicial business this morning.
