HL Deb 10 March 1938 vol 108 cc40-1

LORD STRABOLGI had the following Notice on the Paper: To ask His Majesty's Government what information they have about the reported landing of 5,000 Italian troops at Cadiz during the week ending March 5, 1938, believed to have come from Libya, and to have been transported in the hospital ship "Gradisca," and in Italian warships; and to move for Papers. The noble Lord said: My Lords, since I put this question down on the Order Paper of your Lordships' House certain other information has reached me, and in the circumstances I do not propose to put my Motion.
