HL Deb 08 March 1938 vol 108 cc10-1
THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR INDIA (THE MARQUESS OF ZETLAND)

My Lords, the four draft Orders which are before you to-day without exception make amendments to those which have already been passed by Parliament, and, generally speaking, on comparatively small matters which experience has shown to be required. They have been approved by the India and Burma Special Orders Committee, and I now beg to move that the first of these Orders be approved.

Moved, That the draft Order, as presented to Parliament and reported from the India and Burma Orders Committee on Thursday last, be approved.—(The Marquess of Zetland.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
