HL Deb 20 June 1938 vol 110 c28
LORD SNELL

Is the noble Viscount able to make any statement as to the course of business during the week?

THE LORD PRESIDENT OF THE COUNCIL (VISCOUNT HAILSHAM)

My Lords, on behalf of my noble friend the Leader of the House I desire to inform your Lordships that to-morrow we shall take the Report stage of the Coal Bill and it may be necessary to ask your Lordships to sit after dinner. On Wednesday we shall meet at 3 o'clock and continue the Report stage of the Coal Bill. We hope it will not be necessary to go on after dinner on that night, but it is essential to get the Report stage concluded on Wednesday. On Thursday the House has a good deal of business before it, and we propose to ask your Lordships to meet on that day at 3 o'clock.

House adjourned at thirteen minutes past five o'clock.
