THE CHAIRMAN OF COMMITTEES (THE EARL OF ONSLOW)

My Lords, my noble and learned friend the Lord Chancellor has asked me to move the Motion that stands on the Paper in his name. It is the usual Motion relating to Consolidation Bills.

Moved, That it is desirable that all Consolidation Bills in the present Session be referred to a Joint Committee of both Houses of Parliament.—(The Earl of Onslow.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.

Ordered, That a Message be sent to the Commons to communicate this Resolution, and to desire their concurrence.

House adjourned at a quarter before five o'clock.
