My Lords, subsection (6) of Clause 2 provides that, where an order is in force under the section declaring an area to be an infected area, the Minister may authorise any occupier of any waters in the area to remove any fish from the waters, and to do so by such agents and by such methods (including methods otherwise illegal) as may be most expedient for the purpose. The object of the Amendment is to make the Minister the judge of what agents and what methods are most expedient for the purpose. I beg to move that this House doth agree with the Commons in the said Amendment.
