My Lords, before the House adjourns may I say that it is proposed that we should rise for the Whitsuntide Recess on Thursday next, May 6. Before the adjournment the concluding stages of the Government Bills now before the House will be taken. There will be a Royal Commission on Thursday at 4.30 for the purpose of giving the Royal Assent to certain Bills. The House will reassemble on May 25. The principal business that day will be the Second Reading of the Ministers of the Crown Bill if that Bill is received before your Lordships adjourn on Thursday.
