HL Deb 09 March 1937 vol 104 c588
VISCOUNT HALIFAX

My Lords, I would like to point out that what I have just said will make a change in the order of business for to-morrow, in that this Bill will be down for Second Reading. It may be of interest to your Lordships also to know that Lord Elton has removed his Motion from the Paper and has transferred it to a date after Easter.

LORD STRABOLGI

Does that mean that the Second Reading of this Bill will be the first Order?

VISCOUNT HALIFAX

No, second. The first Order is a Bill standing in the name of my noble friend Lord Gage.

House adjourned at seven o'clock.
