HL Deb 30 June 1937 vol 105 c962

Clause 5, page 6, line 14, leave out ("passing through the sewers of the local authority") and insert ("with which it is likely to come into contact while passing through any sewers")

Clause 5, page 6, line 16, at the beginning insert ("injure or obstruct those sewers or")

Clause 5, page 6, line 36, after ("as") insert ("reasonably")

VISCOUNT GAGE

My Lords, these Amendments are, I think, self-explanatory. They deal with a small point to meet questions arising out of joint sewerage schemes. The Amendment on line 16 merely clarifies a small point, while that on line 36 is purely drafting. I beg to move that we agree with the Commons Amendments.

Moved, That this House doth agree with the Commons in the said Amendments.—(Viscount Gage.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
