HL Deb 27 July 1937 vol 106 c1020
VISCOUNT HALIFAX

My Lords, before we adjourn perhaps I might be allowed to say that my noble friend the Duke of Montrose, who has a Question on the Paper for Thursday afternoon, has asked me whether I could assist him by arranging business without inconvenience to your Lordships generally so that his question should be taken after four o'clock. As the other business is not likely to occupy much time, I would propose therefore, unless any of your Lordships see objection, that the House should meet for public business on Thursday at four o'clock instead of at three o'clock.

House adjourned at ten minutes past four o'clock.
