HL Deb 28 April 1937 vol 105 c42
THE CHAIRMAN OF COMMITTEES (THE EARL OF ONSLOW)

My Lords, I beg to move that Standing Order No. 105 be considered in order to its being dispensed with in respect of the National Trust for Places of Historic Interest or Natural Beauty Bill. The reason for this is that the Standing Order says that the Bill cannot be read a second time until the Attorney-General has reported, and the Report was somewhat delayed.

Moved, That Standing Order No. 105 be considered in order to its being dispensed with in respect of the said Bill.—(The Earl of Onslow.)

On Question, Motion agreed to, and ordered accordingly.

THE EARL OF ONSLOW

My Lords, I beg to move that the Bill be now read 2a.

Moved, That the Bill be now read 2a.—(The Earl of Onslow.)

On Question, Bill read 2a, and committed.
