§ VISCOUNT HALIFAXMy Lords, I might answer the question that my noble friend has put, to me, I understand that 37 the noble Lord opposite intends to initiate a debate on Defence on Tuesday week, November 17; and, as my noble friend the Secretary of State for Air intimated the other day, the Government will be anxious to place at the disposal of the House, so far as it lies with them to influence the decision, whatever days might be thought necessary to give adequate time for the debate.
