I have received your Addresses, praying that the Government of India (Commencement and Transitory Provisions) Order, 1936, the Government of Burma (Commencement and Transitory Provisions) Order, 1936, the Government of India (Distribution of Revenues) Order, 1936, the Government of India (Provincial Elections) (Corrupt Practices and Election Petitions) Order, 1936, and the Government of Burma (Corrupt Practices and Election Petitions) Order, 1936, be made in the form of the respective drafts laid before your Lordships' House, but subject, in the case of the Government of India (Provincial Elections) (Corrupt Practices and Election Petitions) Order and the Government of Burma (Corrupt Practices and Election Petitions) Order, to the Amendments approved by your Lordships' House. I will comply with your request.
