HL Deb 29 July 1936 vol 102 cc393-4

[The references are to Bill No. 167.]

The Commons have amended the New First Schedule inserted by the Lords as follows:

Page 17, line 27, leave out (" Acts, 1924 to 1935 ") and insert (" Act, 1936 ").

The Commons have made the following consequential Amendment to the Bill:

Clause 11, page 13, line 18, leave out (" Acts, 1924 to 1935 ") and insert (" Act, 1936 ").

THE MARQUESS OF DUFFERIN AND AVA

My Lords, both Amendments to this Bill are purely drafting. Consequent upon the passing of the consolidating National Health Insurance Act, 1936, it is necessary to amend the two references in the Bill to the National Health Insurance Acts. I beg to move that the Amendments be agreed to.

Moved, That this House doth agree with the Commons in the said Amendments.—(The Marquess of Dufferin and Ava.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
