line 35, leave out from ("production") to ("or") in line 38.

THE EARL OF FEVERSHAM

My Lords, I move that the next two Amendments of the Commons on Clause 1 be taken together and agreed to. The effect of these Amendments is to modify the restriction at present imposed upon actors who possess firearms while taking part in a theatrical performance or the production of a cinema film. The clause as proposed to be amended will simply make it lawful for an actor without a firearm certificate to be in possession of a fire-arm during and for the purpose of the performance.

Moved, That this House doth agree with the Commons in the said Amendments.—(The Earl of Feversham.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
