HL Deb 23 July 1936 vol 102 c194

Clause 8, page 10, line 5, leave out from ("may") to ("apply") in line 7.

THE EARL OF FEVERSHAM

My Lords, I move that this House doth agree with the Commons Amendment. This Amendment is proposed to take out of Clause 8 the requirement that twenty-one days' notice of an application to Quarter Sessions under Clause 8 shall be given to the chief officer of police, because other and fuller provisions are being made in the later Amendment to the first Schedule of the Bill.

Moved, That this House doth agree with the Commons in the said Amendment.—(The Earl of Feversham.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
