HL Deb 22 July 1936 vol 102 c184
LORD SNELL

My Lords, may I ask whether the noble Viscount the Leader of the House is able to give us any information about the course of business next week, for the remainder of this part of the Session?

VISCOUNT HALIFAX

My Lords, it is hoped that the House will adjourn for the Recess on Friday of next week, July 31, and I should propose to put down a Motion to give Government business precedence until the Recess. It is proposed that the House should meet on Monday next at three o'clock, when the principal business will be a Motion for the approval of the Unemployment Regulations. The House will meet on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at three o'clock, and it is proposed that the House should meet on the Friday morning, when we expect to receive and pass through all its stage the Appropriation Bill, following which there will be a Royal Commission prior the adjournment of the House for the Recess.

House adjourned at ten minutes before six o'clock.
