HL Deb 14 December 1936 vol 103 cc834-6
LORD SNELL

My Lords, I should like to ask the noble Viscount the Leader of the House whether he is able to give us any information about future business.

VISCOUNT HALIFAX

My Lords, in reply to the noble Lord I would state that we shall propose to-morrow to take the Committee stages of the India and Burma (Existing Laws) Bill, the Public Order Bill, and the Expiring Laws Continuance Bill. It may be necessary to-morrow to ask the House to sit after dinner. For Wednesday my noble friend Lord Monkswell has a Question on the Paper, and we should propose on that day to take the Report stage of the Trunk Roads Bill which we have been discussing today. I should add that at half-past eleven o'clock to-morrow morning there will be a sitting of the House to enable noble Lords to take the Oath, and at three o'clock in the afternoon the business I have mentioned will be taken.

House adjourned at twenty minutes before six o'clock.
