VISCOUNT GAGE

My Lords, the first Amendment made by the Commons merely gives a small concession to owners. It gives an owner an additional seven days in which to make up his mind whether or not he proposes to offer to carry out certain works to his property. I do not think any objection can be maintained against this. The second Amendment is consequential. I beg to move that they be agreed to.

Moved, That this House doth agree with the Commons in the said Amendments.—(Viscount Gage.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
